We didn’t even get out of the
airport before we had to
stop and see what she looked like. Out came the happiest, most
loving little thing in the world. She licked us all over and was
really happy to see us.
We started
right away to train her - or rather, for her to train us - which ever. We
tried agility but she was afraid of heights. So we decided to do
conformation. With the help of the 15 year old daughter of my friend
and neighbor, we started going to the dog shows and started to
win. What excitement, to know that your dog was the best that
day We finished Mega in San Antonio at the spring show . Holly
has really enjoyed showing dogs and has helped Professional
handlers show their dogs in the ring. She would like to have a
career as a Professional Handler.
When
we were at the show in Oklahoma I found a beautiful miniature
schnauzer. He looked just like Mega only smaller. I bothered the
owner every day until I finally talked her into letting me buy
him. He is from Curriers miniature Schnauzers. He turned one
year old in
Feb 2004 and we started showing him, but grooming him is a bit
different than the big one. I hope that I have learned more
about it and when we go back out he will have a little more age
on him and I will have groomed him better.
I had planned
for Holly to take Mega out this summer and special her but Mega
had other plans. She came in season in May and we bred her at
the end of May She was bred to a beautiful dog owned by Mat
& Michelle
Smith , Champion Pangia Banditto V. Kamir.
Bandit has an
easy going personality and is very playful even at 9 years old.
Between the two of them we should have fine puppies with
straight backs, good tail sets, great heads and a fabulous coat.
These puppies should be born on July 21st .
